Money-Back Policy

This Money-Back Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on the website https://brainsmate.com/ (the "Site"), operated by SOFTGRID STUDIO LLC ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By completing a purchase on the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
This Policy does not limit, exclude, or modify any non-waivable consumer rights you may hold under applicable law in your country of residence. Where mandatory local law provides rights in addition to, or different from, those set out in this Policy, those rights apply.
1. General
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all fees paid for products and services on the Site are non-refundable. This means that, as a general rule, we do not issue refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with test results or personal disagreement with the outcome.
- Failure to use the service or features during an active subscription or access period.
- Misunderstanding of what the service includes or how it works.
- Financial reasons, including failing to cancel a subscription before auto-renewal, not expecting a charge, or forgetting about an active subscription.
- Dissatisfaction with the experience that does not amount to a technical failure or service non-delivery on our part.
- Other reasons not stated in this Policy.
Exceptions to this general rule are described in Sections 2 through 4 below.
2. Money-Back Guarantee
If you made a purchase on our Site and the money-back option was presented to you during the checkout, you are eligible to receive a refund provided that ALL of the following conditions are met:
- You must have encountered duplicate charges, errors or other verifiable technical problems with the service not caused by scheduled maintenance announced by us via a notice on the Site or force majeure events. You must provide supporting evidence (screenshots, screen recordings, or a detailed description of the error).
- You must reach out to us via email at [email protected] within 30 days of your initial purchase and before the end of your current subscription period (if applicable).
3. Note for US Users
For customers in the United States, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including FTC regulations. Certain US states (e.g., California, New York) may provide additional consumer rights beyond those described in this Policy; nothing herein limits any such rights.
California residents: You may cancel your transaction without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the third business day following the date of the transaction. To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] before that deadline.
4. Note for EU & UK Residents
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason ("cooling-off period").
Subject to the above clause, to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by e-mail [email protected]. You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
If your withdrawal is valid, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and in any event within 14 calendar days of the date on which we receive your withdrawal notice. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any additional fees as a result of the reimbursement.
If you request cancellation within 14 days AND have used the service during that period, a pro-rata deduction may apply.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where:
- You have expressly requested that performance begin before the end of the cooling-off period and the service has been fully performed; or
- The contract is for digital content that you have started downloading or streaming and you consented to the immediate supply, acknowledging that the right of withdrawal is lost.
5. How to Claim a Refund

- Your name and the email you used for purchase.
- Order/transaction ID or payment confirmation.
- A clear and specific description of the problem and the grounds on which you are requesting a refund.
- For technical failure claims: screenshots, screen recordings, or a detailed written description of the error.
We will provide an initial response to your refund request within 10 business days of receiving your complete submission. If we require additional information, we will contact you. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us and providing us with a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback, suspend or terminate your account, and/or pursue recovery of any amounts reversed through legal means.
We encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating any payment dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly and without the need for a chargeback.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. If we make a material change, you will be notified (for example, by email or a pop-up notice on the Site). Where required by law, we will provide advance notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
