Subscriptions Policy

This Subscription Policy ("Policy") describes the terms that apply to all subscription plans offered on the website https://brainsmate.com/ (the "Site"), operated by SOFTGRID STUDIO LLC ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company").
This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read together with our Money-Back Policy. In case of a conflict between Terms and Conditions and this Policy, the Policy shall prevail. By purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
1. WHAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION INCLUDES
1.1. Core features
An active subscription gives you access to the following features on the Site:
- Cognitive games and puzzles. A library of games, puzzles, and quizzes for cognitive functions training.
- Cognitive training course. A structured programme designed to support cognitive development. The course consists of exercises and educational content.
All features are currently available exclusively via the web platform at https://brainsmate.com/.
1.2. Additional one-time products
The following products may be available for separate one-time purchase and are not included in the subscription:
- Assessment retake. When offered to active subscribers, you may purchase a retake of a previously completed assessment for the price shown at the point of purchase.
- Add-ons. We may offer additional one-time purchasable digital content packages ("add-ons") to active subscribers. The exact content and price of each add-on will be displayed at the point of offer. Each add-on is a one-time, non-recurring charge.
1.3. Feature changes
We may add, modify, or remove features available within the subscription at our discretion as we develop the product. If we make a significant reduction to the core features described in Section 1.1, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect and give you the option to cancel without penalty.
2. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
Available plan types and current prices are displayed on our pricing page and at checkout before payment is confirmed. Prices may vary by country.
3. BILLING AND PAYMENT
3.1. Merchant of Record. All transactions on this Site are processed by Flintn, acting as the Merchant of Record.
3.2. Payment confirmation. Before you confirm any payment, you will be shown the applicable price, currency, and applicable taxes. By clicking the payment button, you: (a) confirm that you have reviewed the checkout information; (b) authorise the relevant payment processor to charge your chosen payment method for the amount shown.
3.3. Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically. By purchasing a subscription, you expressly authorise us to charge your payment method automatically at the end of each billing period for the subscription price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Before your first payment, you will be shown the price, currency, and billing frequency. By confirming a subscription purchase, you expressly acknowledge and authorise these recurring charges.
3.4. Additional fees. If you pay in a currency other than your card's home currency, your card issuer or bank may apply foreign exchange rates and cross-border fees. These are imposed by your financial institution and we have no control over or liability for them.
3.5. Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, including VAT, GST, or sales tax, that may apply to your purchase in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is confirmed.
3.6. Price changes. We may change subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your active subscription, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the price change. You may cancel at any time before the new price applies without penalty.
3.7. Failed payments. If your payment method fails and cannot be charged at the renewal date, your access to subscription features may be suspended until the outstanding amount is successfully collected. We may attempt to charge your payment method up to three times before suspending your subscription. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be cancelled.
4. HOW TO CANCEL?
4.1. Cancellation method. To cancel your subscription, contact our customer support team by email at [email protected] and include your registered email address in the request. We will confirm your cancellation by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will retain full access to your subscription features until that date.
4.2. Effect of cancellation. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active and you will retain full access until the last day of the current paid billing period.
- You will not be charged again after the current period ends.
- No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing period, except as required by mandatory applicable law.
- Your account remains active after cancellation.
4.3. Retention offer. When you request cancellation, we may present you with a one-time discounted offer to retain your subscription. Accepting this offer is entirely voluntary.
4.4. Reactivation. If your subscription is cancelled or lapses due to non-payment, you may reactivate it at any time by purchasing a new subscription plan from your account.
5. TERMINATION BY US
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription without refund at any time by written notice to you if:
- We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised use of the subscription.
- You breach our terms or this Policy.
6. PERSONAL USE ONLY
Your subscription is personal to you and is linked to your registered account. You may not share, transfer, resell, or assign your subscription access to any other person. Sharing login access with others may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without a refund.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. If we make a material change, you will be notified (for example, by email or a pop-up notice on the Site). Where required by law, we will provide advance notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Site or activating the subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
